Responsibilities include:

* Maintain a teaching assignment for each module.
* Tutor students individually as required.
* Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure course content and objectives are met.
* Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting.
* Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
* Conduct classes for the full time period, start classes on time, and enforce any applicable campus administrative policies.
* Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
* Attend a minimum of four faculty in-service meetings per year.
* Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance "concerns" to the Program Chair or DOE.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have:

* Must have a Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college and 18 hours graduate semester hours in subject area.

* Must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.

* Will be responsible for teaching College Algebra and Statistics courses.

* Excellent customer service, organizational and motivational skills also essential.
