Corinthian Colleges, Inc., has an immediate opening for highly motivated, results-oriented Nursing Program Faculty (Full-Time and Part-Time) for our Associate Degree Nursing (RN) program located in Salt Lake City, UT. Job Summary:
Responsible for the instruction of nursing students in assigned curriculum. Provides guidance and advising to students to facilitate successful completion of the nursing program and maintains the standards and procedures of the College for educational achievement. Works cooperatively with the Nursing Director, other nursing instructors and campus administration.
Requirements
* Unencumbered license as a registered nurse or a multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in Utah.
* Didactic instructors: Master’s degree in nursing from an NLN accredited college or BSN with Master’s degree in another related discipline or commitment toward achieving Master’s degree
* Clinical instructors: Master's degree or above in nursing
* Two years recent*clinical nursing experience (*Recent: Within the last five years)
* Above average written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
* Training in teaching the adult learner
* Strong medical/surgical background or relevant to instructional area.
* Documentation of preparation and/or experience in curriculum and teaching.
* Must have 2 years experience as a registered nurse with at least 3 years teaching in an NLN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
* Superior interpersonal and facilitative skills.
