This is a part-time position.
General Duties:
* Responsible for contacting all CCi student loan borrowers at all CCi schools to assist them while in grace and/or delinquency status in order to effectively produce reductions in the cohort default rate as determined acceptable by Federal regulations, industry standards and CCi management. * Perform inbound and outbound calls in an auto-dial environment, assist student loan borrowers with questions, counsel borrowers on payment plans, deferments and forbearances and insure borrower commitment and follow-through. * Responsible for coordinating contact with third-parties such as lenders, servicers and guarantee agencies and student loan borrowers.
Requirements
* Excellent customer service skills. * Be able to maintain acceptable call quotas while demonstrating exceptional levels of customer service and providing worthwhile and measurable assistance to borrowers. * Insure accurate and complete data management. * Improve cohort default rate and projections through call center activities. * Understanding of cohort default rate calculations, Federal Family Education Loan Program preferred but not required. * Collections and/or call center experience preferred but not required. * Perform other duties as needed.
