The Career Services Office is expanding due to company growth. With increased enrollment we need to expand the office staff.
General Duties:
* Under general supervision assist students, graduates, and alumni in their job search.
* Assist students and graduates through workshops, and personal advising to include general career advising, including resume and cover letter writing, interview, and job search skills.
* Actively promote career services to students and faculty.
* Maintain documentation on all graduates and track placement rates as required for compliance with accreditation, education department and company policy.
* Must achieve minimum placement rates by program as set by CCi and accreditation.
* Enter all placement data in to company database; must be timely and accurate; verify all placements according to company policy, distribute and collect employer surveys as required.
* Generate weekly placement tracking reports.
* Actively market to local employers to develop new and maintain existing relationships for job leads via cold calling, and site visits.
* Work closely with Externship Coordinator to generate externship site leads; maintain job boards.
* Assist with bi-annual graduation ceremonies, company showcases, and career fairs.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
* Essential ability to work with a diverse student population.
* Must have excellent time management skills/ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast paced environment, flexible schedule.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills; detail oriented.
* Career Services, Recruiting, or Human Resources experience a plus.
* Microsoft office word and excel.
* Associates degree required; Bachelors desirable or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
