Total P&L responsibility. Responsibility for monthly/annual forecasting of staffing, enrollments, and operational costs. Develop, retain, and recruit a top operational management personnel and instructional team of full time/adjunct faculty. Develop a managerial dashboard to track and manage key metrics relative to satisfaction, enrollment, financial aid, employee relations, and several financial metrics. Results reporting at a campus and corporate level will be essential. Manage and maintain a budget and provide recommendations and justifications for capital expenditures.
Requirements A Bachelor's degree is required. At least 4 years of senior experience in academic administrative experience with a for-profit academic institution with a student population of at least 600. Equivalent managerial skills and demonstrated leadership in the areas of academic programs will be necessary. Demonstrated leadership skills in creating a team-oriented culture. Exceptional communication skills to work effectively internally with students, team, and faculty, and externally by representing the school to the community and local political/business leaders. A leadership style that combines passion, intuition, and a hands-on orientation to shape and build a world-class academic environment. Past success in driving quality improvements with little patience for complacency is a must. P&L management experience. Prior experience successfully managing both top and bottom line growth. General management skills that demonstrate strong business savvy. Exceptional leadership skills with prior success promoting growth, team development, and creativity. A strong work ethic combined with a relentless execution oriented mindset. A demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and knowledge of how to improve these processes in order to achieve/exceed service-level standards between faculty and students. A natural ability to coach and counsel others; has a track record of successfully developing people into successful managers and administrators.
