Corinthian Colleges, Inc., a publicly traded corporation (NASDAQ: COCO) has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, results-oriented Nursing Program Director for our Associate Degree Nursing program located in Henderson, NV. We are seeking an individual with proven leadership ability who is ready to accept the responsibilities of a flagship ADN nursing program for a rapidly growing, innovative, nationally recognized education corporation.
General Duties:
* Responsible for general oversight, management, evaluation and direction of the nursing program and faculty.
* Adheres to national, state and local regulatory rules and standards regarding nursing education.
* Oversees guidance and advising to students to facilitate successful completion of the nursing program and maintains the standards and procedures of the College for educational achievement and instructional effectiveness.
Requirements
* Masters in Nursing from an NLN accredited college
* Current, unencumbered license as a registered nurse or a multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in Nevada
* Documentation of preparation and/or experience in curriculum and teaching
* Must have 5 years experience as a registered nurse with at least 3 years teaching in an NLN or CCNE accredited nursing program and 3 years management/leadership
* Superior interpersonal and facilitative skills
