Job Summary:

Reporting to the National Director, Education and Workforce Development, the Director, Strategic Alliances will play a key role in driving the success of partnerships with agencies, foundations and businesses. The Director will be accountable for (1) supporting efforts to establish partnerships, (2) provide leadership to ensure the partnerships are effective for CCi, the partners, CCi schools and students, and (3) lead efforts to secure proposals and grants on behalf of CCi and the partners.

Job Responsibilities:

* Partnership Acquisition. Support CCi leadership’s efforts to establish partnerships with outside agencies, foundations and business. Support activities to identify and secure partnerships, including assembling list of local market partnership candidates, conducting due diligence of local and national partnership candidates, defining and participating in discussions to establish win-win business terms with potential partners, participating in partnership negotiations, supporting contract development, more.

* Partnership Leadership. Support CCi leadership’s efforts to define, establish and oversee the processes associated with the partnership. Customer processes will address all interactions with partnership customers/ students, including marketing, case management, education/ training, supportive services, other education/ certifications (e.g., GED), job placement, more. Lead and facilitate interactions to support and grow the partnership, including leadership interactions, data sharing, financial interactions, escalation protocols, more.

* Customer/ Student Operational Leadership. Support CCi leadership’s efforts to consistently deliver services to students associated with the partnership throughout the student life-cycle. Collaborate with key individuals within CCi and partners to ensure delivery of services to the defined standards. Provide training to CCi and partner staff. In conjunction with CCi and partnership staff, conduct quality assessments and implement and oversee plans to elevate performance. Identify additional support, resources, information to drive partnership opportunities and successes. Share, as appropriate, best practices across partnership relationships. Proposal/ Grant Development. Support CCi leadership efforts to secure funding opportunities associated with the partnership, including identification of funding opportunities, opportunity assessment (i.e., ROI), development of winning messages and objection handling, assessment of competitors, proposal/ grant writing, proposal/ grant presentation preparation, contracting Other Duties. Provide other strategic services as defined by the supervisor.

Requirements
* Bachelors degree
* Three to five years of experience managing strategic alliances, interacting at the senior levels of organizations
* Track record of growing results of partnerships through superior communication, organization, presentation skills and executive presence
* Strong knowledge of the education industry, including governing policies, operations and influencers
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Work, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to travel independently
* Working knowledge of contracts
* Ability to define and model ROI models
