Summary:
Establish and maintain relationships with enrolled students and parents throughout their enrollment period with emphasis on consistent and superior customer service. Functions as a student financial aid planner. Assists and coordinates with the student and parent to complete all pre-start requirements on a deadline driven timeline.
General Duties: * Assists students and their parents to fund their education through Title IV funds and Alternative Loans. * Assist students and parents to complete all required FA documents, loan documents, and other required forms. * Assist students to select and secure housing at their respective campus. * Assist students with all other pre-start requirements to include travel and transportation, area information, registration, etc. * Encourage students to attend school and discourage cancellation. * Provide up-to-date campus product information to include curriculum, conduct code, events, etc. * Coordinate with the assigned Admissions Representative to overcome student attendance barriers and issues. * Maintain positive working relationships with campus-based contacts. * Enter and maintain accurate and timely notes in student database. * Maintain daily tracking that reports student progress throughout the process and share with Admissions Rep as requested. * Meet or exceed show rate targets as established. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements * Must be flexible to work at the convenience of the customer which includes evenings and weekends. * Bachelor or Associates Degree preferred. * Title IV, finance, customer service, and/or sales background experience required. * 1 to 3 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must possess a robust customer service passion and mentality with a customer centric focus with excellent negotiation and problem solving abilities. * Must possess high energy and be results driven with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize deadlines. * Must be highly motivated and a team player. * Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, a strong work ethic, and the ability to show professionalism at all times. * Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus. * Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and database programs as well as skill maneuvering the internet.
