This position is responsible for oversight and management of Guide Services Supervisors and Operations in accordance with Federal/State regulations and Company policies and procedures. Will assess the performance of financial counseling, forms completion, contract disclosure and all other related processing to ensure student funding of educational expenses. Will train, develop, and evaluate Guide Services staff to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently as it relates to targeted show rate, package rate, and other specified metrics. This position serves as a liaison between students, parents, Campus-based and third party agencies/servicers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage supervisors and team members ensuring financial compliance with company objectives and Federal/State regulations.
* Oversee the process of new loan and grant applications.
* Manage the financial aid process to ensure the quality processing of student files and accurate processing of funds in accordance with federal regulations.
* Monitors all student finance activities to ensure timely file processing, billing, and funding.
* Inform students of their financial obligation, the institution’s financial options, and financial policies and procedures as related to their educational expenses.
* Ensure completion of all financial forms, installment notes and disclosure statements related to student financing and credit terms.
* Direct internal controls for cash management to ensure appropriate cash flow levels.
* Implement, monitor, and enforce corporate financial policies and procedures.
* Communicate updates of financial aid and collection policies and procedures through department meetings.
* Provide superior and consistent customer service and answers to student inquiries.
* Ability to effectively lead and manage the customer life cycle.
* Ability to effectively lead/consult staff through problem solving of obstacles and objections students may encounter during the pre-start process.
* Assist in the coordination of the institution’s response to any internal/external audits related to Student Finance Operations.
* Prepares documentation requirements to meet compliance audit standards.
* Compile, prepare and analyze monthly reports in support of Student Finance Operations.
* Provide ongoing financial analysis of current operations in order to make strategic/budget recommendations to local or regional administration.
* Participate as an active member of the institution’s Management Team and ensure active communication and cohesive working relationship with all other departments.
* Process personnel actions, to include interview, hire, performance evaluations, and termination.
* Train and develop assigned personnel in performing highly structured work with extensive standard operating procedures.
* Encourages professional growth and fosters cooperation amongst staff members and departments.
* Attend all applicable training workshops to remain current on company policies and procedures.
* Ensure that assigned personnel attend business related trainings.
* Collaborate with field and campus operations to ensure quality assurance.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
* Bachelor Degree required and 3 to 5 years experience managing a student finance process within an education environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have 3 to 5 years experience with Title IV programs.
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats to perform all functions related to this position.
* Must have working knowledge of student financial software and operating systems.
* Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data/reports in order to make recommendations regarding campus performance.
* Must have the ability to effectively organize and establish priorities.
* Must be highly motivated and a team player.
